In the recent development of Sushant Singh Rajput‘s case, his family lawyer Vikas Singh opened up about the late actor’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani. He states, Siddharth will be named as the co-conspirator in the FIR. The lawyer further talked about how Sushant’s family suspects a murder after Siddharth changed his stance.
According to Pinkvilla, the lawyer talked about wanting the case to be transferred to CBI. He said, “We have presented our case and we are only waiting for the judgement of the SC but we will want it to be transferred to CBI.” Talking about Sushant’s family changing their stance from suicide to filing an FIR against Rhea on the grounds of abetment of suicide to murder; Vikas said that it only happened after Siddharth went on to change his stance on it.
Talking about Rhea Chakraborty‘s statement, Vikas talked about how ED is still investigating the case and they are not interested in her statement. He said, “we are not interested in her self-certification and how can she give herself a certificate when ED is still investigating the case, but I am sure truth will prevail and CBI has begun its investigation up until now the Mumbai police was handling with kids gloves.”
The late actor’s lawyer further shed light on Sushant’s father claiming that Rhea transferred 15 crores from the late actor’s account. He stated, “we have said that heavy withdrawals have happened.” He was also asked about his take on Rhea being a nominee of Sushant’s insurance. He stated, “she cannot be the beneficiary.” This comes after Rhea mentioned that she was in a live-in relationship with the late actor. “Indian laws do not entitle such persons to be legal heirs without a will,” Vikas said.
