Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who was diagnosed with an advanced stage lung cancer last week, was seen outside the hospital in Andheri. Since then, speculations have been made that the actor-producer has been admitted to a medical facility in the suburbs.
The actor was spotted outside the hospital last evening with his sister Priya Dutt, which sparked off rumours that the 61-year-old has come to get admitted to the multi-facility hospital. However, a source close to the actor, informed Bombay Times that Sanjay Dutt has only started undergoing tests and has not been admitted to the hospital yet.
“Sanjay was at the hospital yesterday for a few hours. He was there even today morning for some tests. He’s undergoing check-ups since yesterday as prescribed by the doctors. The results will determine the course of his further treatment. He has not been admitted to the hospital,” said the source.
Earlier in this month, the ‘Vaastav’ actor was admitted to a prime hospital in Bandra after he faced difficulty in breathing. It was feared that that actor might be COVID-19 positive but the news was discarded when he was discharged on Monday, August 10. On August 11, he took to his social media account and announced that he will be on a short medical break. In a few hours, news about his lung cancer diagnosis was splashed all over. Maanayata, Dutt’s wife, who was in Dubai for the last few months, returned to India. Sanjay’s sisters, Priya and Namrata and his brothers-in-law, Owen Roncon and Kumar Gaurav, have been by his side throughout the lockdown and even during his recent hospitalisation.
