Legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam was admitted to the MGM hospital, Chennai after he showed symptoms for the COVID-19. He has been one of the most celebrated singers of all time. As per recent reports, the singer is not keeping well and is in fact in a critical condition. Balasubrahmanyam has tested positive for Coronavirus and has been shifted to the ICU on Friday, 14th August 2020.

Celebrities from the Bollywood Industry and South Indian Film Industry like AR Rahman, Boney Kapoor, Shekhar Kapur, Shankar Mahadevan, Dhanush and others prayed for the well-being and speedy recovery of the singer. They took to their social media handles to pour in their good wishes for his health.

Music Composer AR Rahman took to his Twitter handle and tweeted, “I request all the music fans to pray for this legend along with me ..#SPBalasubrahmanyam ..he has given us so much joy with his amazing voice!”

Director Shekhar Kapur tweeted and wrote, “Praying for the Speedy recovery of Legendary Thiru S P Balasubrahmanyam. #SPBalasubrahmanyam” Kapur further added, “Praying for the great singer #SPBalasubrahmanyam on a ventilator with #Covid_19.”

Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy’s Shankar Mahadevan urged everyone to pray for SPB’s speedy recovery. He tweeted, “Let’s all pray for SPB sirs health condition! Let’s pray that he recovers soon and comes back to normalcy.”

Tollywood superstar Dhanush wrote for the veteran singer, “Please pray for SPB sir.”

Film Director-Producer Boney Kapoor took to his Twitter handle  and wrote, “Praying for the Speedy recovery of Legendary Thiru S P Balasubrahmanyam.”

Music Composer Harris Jayaraj wrote, “I pray the almighty for Mr #SPBalasubrahmanyam to recover and get well soon. Praise The Lord.”

Singer-Performer Chinmayi Sripada made a tweet about the legendary singer and wrote, “Praying for SPB sir. 🙏”

It is worth mentioning that SPB recently joined hands with Vairamuthu for a song on the COVID-19.
