Legendary singer S.P. Balasubrahmanyam, who was tested positive for Coronavirus earlier this month, continues to be stable and is maintaining normal oxygen saturation. Now, the latest news is that the singer is in critical condition and has been shifted to Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
SP Balasubrahmanyam, was admitted to MGM Healthcare in Chennai. The hospital authorities claimed that the singer is on life support and his conditions are still critical. The statement released by he hospital authorities read as, “There has been a setback in the health of Thiru SP Balasubrahmanyam who had been admitted at MGM Healthcare for symptoms for Covid-19 since 5th August 2020. In a late night development on 13th August 2020, his condition had deteriorated and based on the advice of the expert medical team attending him, he has been moved to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and he is on life support and his condition remains critical.”
The statement added, “He is currently under observation by the team of experts from critical care and his haemodynamic and clinical parameters are being closely monitored.”

On 5th August, SPB opened about testing positive for COVID-19 after showing mild symptoms. Later, he got admitted in hospital despite being advised home quarantine. The legendary singer SP Balasubramaniam is an exceptional artist whose career spans more than five decades. We wish the legend a speedy recovery.
