John Abraham pleaded with Prime Minister Narendra Modi from the heart to alter the Animal Protection Act as needed. John emphasised the value of protecting animals nationwide in a video posted on his social media accounts.

John made heartfelt remarks in the film about how helpless animals are, claiming that they are unable to vote, seek redress in court, or communicate their sorrow to reporters. In order to advance the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Amendment Bill, he urged all members of Parliament to act during the approaching monsoon session.

John fervently argued for harsher penalties for those who hurt animals, emphasising the need to address problems like animal deaths and acid attacks on helpless animals. He emphasised that India has a duty to safeguard her animal inhabitants and that the meagre punishments of Rs. 50 for such horrible crimes are insufficient.

He captioned the video post as ‘We can only build a safer & healthier society for all, if we encourage compassion and punish cruelty. Cruelty to animals is against the moral fibre of Indians.” Fans immediately resonated with his message, with many expressing their agreement and support for the cause.
