Dharmendra has posted a behind-the-scenes photo from the sets of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. In the film, he plays Rocky’s grandfather.
Dharmendra will next be seen in Karan Johar’s forthcoming film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, after starring in the web series Taj. The 87-year-old actor has now revealed a behind-the-scenes photo from the set of his new film, which shows him in the middle of a tender moment with co-star Alia Bhatt. Ranveer Singh, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi also appear in the film.
Dharmendra captioned the photo on Instagram, “Friends, loving Alia is showing me glimpses of my romantic past……….. Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.” It shows Dharmendra and Alia looking intently at something on an iPad while smiling. While holding the iPad in one hand, Dharmendra touches Alia’s cheek with the other.
Fans of the two actors adored the film. Sunny Deol showered heart emoticons on the post. Namashi Chakraborty, Mithun Chakraborty’s son, commented on the post, “Love you Dharm uncle.” A fan wrote, “The film industry is a family.” “So cute,” said another. On July 28, the film will be released in theatres. It is Alia and Ranveer’s second collaboration following the success of Gully Boy in 2019. The film teaser showcased everything Karan Johar is known for: lavish sets, feminine actors in chiffon sarees, family turmoil, and dance sequences with a variety of background performers.
