Geeta Jhala, a renowned and versatile singer, has been chosen to perform the Indian national anthem at the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) Final between India and Australia.

This prestigious event will take place at the Kennington Oval in London on Wednesday. It is worth noting that Jhala will be the first Gujarati singer to receive this honor from the ICC.

Accompanying Geeta Jhala during the performance will be Rahul Munjariya, who will be responsible for producing the music for the national anthems. Munjariya is highly experienced in seamlessly blending classical and Western music.

Geeta Jhala gained prominence for her captivating rendition of the title track in the 2015 Bollywood film ‘Welcome Back’. Known for her versatility, she has delivered numerous hit songs in genres ranging from classical to Punjabi and Bollywood music.

Some of her popular tracks include ‘Moorni Refix,’ ‘Ranjhana,’ ‘Aaja Maahi,’ ‘Oh Miss,’ and ‘Thodi Vaar’. Jhala’s recent song ‘Patodu’ with Kritidan Gadhavi showcased her ability to effortlessly blend Western style with Indian folk music, highlighting her versatility as an artist.
