After a lengthy absence, India’s Best Dancer is back on television with its third season. The series premiered on April 8 and its first few episodes have already captured viewers’ interest. The format of the show is built on a number of aspiring dancers fighting against one another on the show’s stage to take home the trophy.
The first few episodes give us a sneak peek at the auditions, where a variety of contestants were seen lighting up the stage with their dance talent. Many types of dance, including Bollywood, modern, hip-hop, lyrical, breaking, and Indian classical performance, were performed by the contestants.
The mega auditions will be aired to the public this weekend. These competitors’ choreographers are prepared to appear on stage. The IBD 3 choreographers are listed in detail below. Check out!
1. Tushar Shetty
Tushar Shetty is a famous dancer and choreographer. He was born in Bombay on June 2, 1995. Mumbai is Tushar’s home city. Tushar competed in the popular reality series So You Think You Can Dance.
Tejas Verma was his former student on Super Dancer 3 during the third season. The pair came in as first runner-up. On S4 of Super Dancer in 2021, he worked with Florina Gogoi as a dance instructor and choreographer. The team came in first place. Akash Ambedkar was also coached by him for India’s Best Dancer season 2 and Sonal Vichare in IBD season 1.
2. Vartika Jha
Indian dancer, choreographer, and performer Vartika Jha was born in the year 200. In 2019, the young dancer made her debut on the fourth season of the popular dance reality series Dance+. Since then, the gifted and young Vartika has not stopped.
She worked as a choreographer for IBD 1 and later won the competition with Tiger Pop and Saumya Kamble for IBD season 2. In Super Dancer Chapter 3, she was choreographing Sanchit as well. She also appeared in the film Street Dancer 3D by Remo D’Souza.
3. Rupesh Soni
Indian dancer and choreographer Rupesh Soni won Dancing Dewaane season 3 with Piyush Gurbhele and finished third in Dance+ season 5 in 2019. He is well recognised for his accomplishments.
4. Sonali Kar
Popular Indian dancer and choreographer Sonali Kar is well-known for her work on Super Dancer Chapter 4, a dance reality series on Sony TV. Sonali was born in Kolkata, West Bengal, on September 5, 1989. She began dancing as a child with the hope of pursuing a career in dance.
She relocated to Mumbai to pursue a profession in dancing after completing her elementary schooling there. She moved to Mumbai, had dance instruction, and then put in a lot of effort to prepare for auditions for several dance reality shows.
5. Paramdeep Singh
Paramdeep Singh is an Indian dancer and choreographer who initially participated in IBD season 1 as a contestant. He then pursed to follow his dance career and went on to conduct several dance workshops in various cities in India. He will now be seen as Choreographer in IBD season 3.
6. Shweta Warrior
Shweta Warrier was born on March 8, 2000, in Dombivli, Maharashtra age 23 years. Since she was little, she has wanted to pursue a career in dancing. 2014 provided Shweta Warrier with the opportunity to make her professional debut on the television programme Bharat Ki Shaan Let’s Dance.
Dancer Shweta Warrier is from India. She is well-known for Dancing India Dance, Dhee10, and the dance reality series India’s Best Dancer. She was a contestant in the dance reality series IBD season 1 as well, and she will now appear in IBD season 3.
7. Anuradha Iyengar
Anuradha is a choreographer and dancer. She experienced a tragic tragedy in which she lost both of her parents, leaving her with little choice but to look for means of providing for herself financially. She earned money by working as a freelance choreographer. She had always wanted to take part in a dance competition, and Dance India Dance season 5 gave her the chance she needed.
She first developed an interest in dance at the age of 8 when she studied the Indian dance style known as Bharatnatyam. Since then, she has experimented with a variety of dance forms, making her a performer with a wide range of abilities. She gave an audition for the fifth season of DID and advanced to the top 15.
8. Pankaj Thapa
Indian dancer Pankaj Thapa is a well-known dancer and has appeared on numerous dance reality television shows. He was born in Assam, India, on March 18, 1994. He travelled to Mumbai to pursue a career in dance because of his early love in the art form.
With Season 5 of Dance India Dance, Pankaj began his dance career. Following that, he and Subhranil Paul performed in India’s Best Dancer. They even made it to the show’s finale because of the judge’s and audience’s positive reactions to their pairing. In the year 2021, Pankaj took part in Super Dancer Chapter 4 as a super guru on Sony TV. He was Pari Tamang’s super guru in the Super Dancer chapter 4.
