TV actor Samir Sharma was found hanging in his apartment in Malad. The building’s watchman saw the late actor’s body hanging from the kitchen ceiling and quickly informed the police and people from their building. A case of accidental death was filed by the Malad police after the case was brought to their attention while the body was sent to the autopsy.
Samir’s death has shocked the entertainment industry. Bollywood actors like Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, Kritika Kamra and others took to their social media handles to mourn the loss of the actor.
Sidharth shared a still from their movie Hasee Toh Phasee and wrote, ‘Really sad and unfortunate #RIPSameerSharma’ while Varun Dhawan also shared a photo of the actor offering condolences.
Ashwin Mushran wrote about the late actor’s death on Twitter, “This probably won’t be talked about as much as SSR but a TV actor is presumed to have killed himself. Samir Sharma – Talented guy with a lot of work to his name. It’s harsh for people in this industry right now. Not everybody has the support or can maybe reach out for it”

“I’m taken aback by this rather appalling news. It is very unfortunate to lose someone so close to us. We really connected over music and even shared the makeup room now and then. It is very hard to come to terms with this,” TV actor Ritvik Arora told Zoom digital.
