After Sushant Singh Rajput’s father filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and five others in Patna. Bihar Police sent an IPS Officer named Vinay Tiwari to Mumbai to investigate Sushant’s death case. As soon as the IPS Officer arrived in Mumbai he was sent to quarantine by the BMC as per the guidelines fixed by the government to counter the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the country. Bihar Police is unhappy with Mumbai Police for its non-cooperation in the case.
It was reported that SP Vinay Tiwari is likely to file exclusion from the 14 day home quarantine which has been insisted by the government. According to the recent reports, the Bihar Police also reported the quarantining of Tiwari and expressed their discontent over the BMC’s decision. SP Tiwari spoke about BMC’s decision and also said it is a denial of his rights. “BMC’s move is unfair and unfortunate, it is a denial of my legal rights,” Tiwari said while to Times Now.
Senior BMC officials have suggested that SP Tiwari has to go through a COVID-19 test if he wants to leave before his quarantine period is over. The officer will only be allowed to go if he tested negative for coronavirus.
Although the Centre has approved Bihar government’s request to initiate a CBI probe in the late actor’s death case which also acts as a ray of hope for the actor’s friends, family and fans.
