Prime Video on Monday unveiled the first look of actors Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas from their upcoming global series “Citadel”. The series is an action-spy thriller, produced by Russo Brothers’ AGBO banner. Earlier Prime Video announced that the show will premiere on April 28.
The first look of the actors was posted by Prime Video on their official Instagram Handle with the caption, “First look at @citadelonprime via @vanityfair #CitadelOnPrime”.

”Citadel” is the debut of a global franchise and its subsequent series will travel around the globe with interconnected stories. The series is already in production in India and Italy, and similarly, each series will be locally created, produced, and filmed in- the region with local stars, forming a global franchise. The series will start streaming on April 28 with two episodes, and other episodes will be released weekly every Friday till May 26.
The story of “Citadel” revolves around Mason Kane (played by Richard Madden) and Nadia Sinh (played by Priyanka Chopra) who had their memory wiped out as they escaped to save their lives after the independent global spy agency Citadel’s fall. They have ever since the fall of Citadel amd are building new lives under new identities, unaware of their pasts.
The show also stars Lesley Manville as Dahlia Archer, Osy Ikhile as Carter Spence, Ashleigh Cummings as Abby Conroy, Roland Moller as Andres Silje, and Caoilinn Springall as Hendrix Conroy among others. Audience are excited to watch the series as it is the landmark debut of a global franchise.
