Indian cricket team is close to win the second Test against Australia in Delhi. Virat Kohli who needed just 52 runs to complete 25000 international runs before this Test match has now reached this milestone in the second innings.
Virat Kohli came on to bat when Rohit got dismissed and he needed only 8 runs to reach the milestone. With this, the former Indian captain has joined legends Sachin Tendulkar and Ricky Ponting in the elite list of scoring 25k runs in International cricket. He only becomes the second Indian cricketer and 6th player to complete this milestone.
Indian cricket team is currently chasing 115 runs to lead the Test series by 2-0 against Australia. With this victory, India will also register themselves in the finals of the World Test Championship (WTC) finals. The WTC 2021-23 final game will be played between India and Australia.
