Daryl Dixon is one of the most important characters in the post-apocalypse drama The Walking Dead which ran on AMC from 2010 to 2022. Now the series will be concluded in a sex episode spinoff set to premiere this year. The series will follow Daryl Dixon’s character in France. AMC TV shared three pictures on their Twitter handle and wrote “Here’s the first look at The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.”

The first image shows some of the walkers that Daryl will most probably face off with within the new series. The other two images show various shots of his new adventures in France. The pictures posted by AMC TV carefully avoid revealing too much about the new series’ plot. However, there is a bit of information that can be drawn out from the images, the images of the walkers show that the walk of French walkers is different from that of American Walkers. The walkers in the background look slightly less decayed which may hint that the zombie virus hit Europe slightly later than the U.S.
In the second image it seems like, Daryl is kneeling down in front of people. He might be kneeling down in front of group of survivors who might have captured him. The last image shows Daryl standing by a horse which might indicate something about how France dealt with the Zombie Plague. The zombie variants found in The Walking Dead franchise will help develop the Daryl Dixon spinoff and explain the origin and traits of the walker.
