Former Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli came in support of one of the greatest footballers Cristiano Ronaldo who recently got out of the FIFA World Cup 2022. Portugal got knocked out by the underdogs of Morocco in the quarter-final game of the FIFA World Cup 2022. Indian cricketer Virat Kohli posted a photo on his Instagram handle sending a motivational message to the Portuguese forward.
Portugal got defeated by Morocco by 1-0 in the quarter-finals and Cristiano Ronaldo was seen in tears after the game. He wasn’t able to stop crying after the shocking exit from the World Cup. Portugal was one of the teams who were favorites to win this year’s World Cup. Ronaldo himself told that this was his last FIFA World Cup and won’t be seen in the competition again, so he’ll be without the cup.
“No trophy or any title can take anything away from what you’ve done in this sport and for sports fans around the world. No title can explain the impact you’ve had on people and what I and so many around the world feel when we watch you play. That’s a gift from god. You are for me the greatest of all time,” Virat Kohli wrote on his official Instagram handle.
