Aam Aadmi Party approves doorstep delivery of ration system in Delhi. The plan for doorstep delivery of ration to eligible recipients is approved by the Government of Delhi on Tuesday.The system would be recognized as “Mukhya Mantri Ghar Ghar Ration Yojna, Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal stated.
Recipients would also be free to opt to purchase their supply from the supermarkets. In the case of home delivery, aata (flour) will be provided instead of wheat. Condition boxes would be packaged and sent to the recipients’ doorstep.
Therefore, in the next 6-7 months, the plan of “Mukhya Mantri Ghar Ghar Ration Yojna, which was agreed at a meeting of the Delhi cabinet and other requirements are likely to be enforced.
The Center’s ‘One Nation One Ration Card’ program will also enter into force in Delhi. With the implementation of the doorway delivery scheme, Arvind Kejriwal added.
“In the nation, every government, together with the central government, is distributing ration to the needy. There are a number of issues in the allocation of ration.
As the government of the AAP has arrived, we have eased some of these issues. The move made by the Cabinet today is a groundbreaking step forward. The Mukhyamantri Ghar Ghar Ration Yojana has been authorised. Under this system, ration would be distributed to people’s homes with dignity, “Kejriwal stated.
Moreover, Mr Kejriwal mentioned that he and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia used to work for the needy. And to campaign for rations for the needy. the main usage is to get rations for the men.
The Aam Aadmi Party government had launched a scheme in the previous term. Which includes, among other items, doorways to new ration cards and driving licences.
About 1.7 million households are projected to benefit from Doorstep ration distribution.
