Filmmaker Prakash Jha is known to work on hard-hitting concepts on his films. From Gangaajal to Rajneeti to Satyagraha, his films speak about the socio-economical issues that our country face. This time, he talks about the flaws in our educational system. With his new movie, Pareeksha, he plans to show how biased the system can be towards a family.

The 48 seconds teaser gives away the major plot of the movie. It starts with a rickshaw puller (Adil Hussain) singing, “Baba Black Sheep,” as he drops kids to the school. Adil wants his child to get a better education in English Medium School rather than the government school. This onsets the struggle of a rickshaw puller trying his best to provide good education for his son. He is mistreated by the privileged and even the ones around him aren’t really supportive.
