On Saturday night, Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan broke were tested positive for coronavirus. In no time, rumours of other high profile celebrities being positive started surfacing on the internet. From Neetu Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor being tested positive to Hema Malini. The legendary actress’s daughter Esha Deol called out the tweets that were spreading the rumours.
Esha called the rumours to be ‘absolutely fake’ and that Hema Malini is fit and fine. Taking to Twitter, Esha wrote, “My mother @dreamgirlhema is fit & fine ! The news regarding her health is absolutely fake so please don’t react to such rumours! Thanks to everyone for their love & concern.”

On the other hand, she wished Amitabh a speedy recovery. Amitabh along with Abhishek is admitted to Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai. The other family members, Jaya Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were tested negative and are now home quarantined.

Rumours surfaced about Ranbir Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor being tested positive for coronovirus. Fashion designer Riddhima Kapoor took to her Instagram to slam such tweets. She even asked people to stop spreading misinformation.Some tweets claimed the Bachchans, who are at Nanavati Hospital, got the virus after Amitabh’s grandson, Agastya Nanda, attended a birthday party hosted by Riddhima.
