Rajasthan Royals has brought the pacer Trent Boult into his line up for the 15th season. Raj Kumar felt this was surprising to see franchise sidelined the best pacer who has had proven match winner on many occasions.
“MI will miss Trent Boult for sure and they miscalculated. Boult and Jasprit Bumrah have won them so many games. I really don’t know how they let him go,” he said on the Khelneeti podcast.
In the last two seasons, Boult was effective for the franchise. Mumbai Indians has brought three left arm pacer this time around. Even Raj Kumar felts that Pollard has the big role in the upcoming season of IPL. Surprising to see that franchise don’t have much all rounders in the line up. With more batters the responsibility will be more on other experience players to perform well.
