Elon Musk, the founder of Tesla, has announced his resignation from the board of directors of Endeavor Group Holdings, a Hollywood conglomerate that owns the William Morris talent agency and the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the firm disclosed Musk’s departure in its annual report filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, stating that his resignation will be effective from June 30, 2022.

“We thank Elon Musk for his commitment to Endeavor through our first year as a public company, in which he contributed meaningfully to our long-term strategy and vision for the future of sports and entertainment. We know he has a lot of demands and little time, and we appreciate the support he provided us,” an Endeavor spokesperson said.

Musk resigned on March 12, according to the firm, and it was not due to any kind of disagreement. In the meanwhile, Musk is the founder, CEO, and chief engineer of SpaceX, in addition to running Tesla.
