Tehseen Poonawalla is also a life coach and a TEDx speaker who was born in Pune, Maharashtra, in May 1981. He belongs to an Aga Khani Muslim community from wealthy family background. His younger brother, Shehzad Poonawala is also a political analyst, lawyer and civil rights activist.

Tehseen rose to prominence in 2009 as a wild card contestant on Colors TV’s reality show, ‘Bigg Boss 13.’ He was the highest-paid contestant of ‘Bigg Boss 13,’ earning roughly Rs 21 lakhs every week. However, he only lasted a few episodes on that reality programme.
