On Tuesday, the GCA (Gujarat Cricket Association) said that the three-match ODI series between India and West Indies are held in Ahmedabad from February 6 to 11. It will be played behind closed doors due to the pandemic.
The matches are to be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium. GCA tweeted that they are all set to host the West Indies Tour of India ODI series 2022. The first ODI on February 6 will be a very special and historic match as India will be playing its 1000th ODI. The Indian team is going to be the first cricket team in the world for achieving it.
In another tweet, the state cricket body said that considering the current situation, all the matches are to be played behind closed doors.

After the ODI’s, the two teams are due to play a three-match T20 International series in Kolkata, regarding which the West Bengal Government has permitted to have 75 per cent of the crowd present.
The first match of the ODI series between India and West Indies will be played on February 6, following the second match on February 9 and then they will finish the series with the last match on February 11.
Similarly, the first match of the T20 International series between India and West Indies will be played on February 16, following the second match on February 18 and then they will finish the series with the last match on February 20.
