In a tweet, early this morning, Groww CEO and Founder Lalit Keshre announced that Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft will join Groww as an investor and advisor. “Groww gets one of the world’s best CEOs as an investor and advisor. Thrilled to have @satyanadella join us in our mission to make financial services accessible in India,” Keshre tweeted.

Groww, headquartered in Bengaluru, is an online investment platform for investors. The online platform allows investors to invest in stocks and mutual funds.
As of April 2021, the company raised over $140 million at a valuation of $1 billion. And, in October 2021, Groww raised over $251 million in funding at a valuation of $3 Billion or Rs 22,500 crore which was is three times the previous valuation and the company achieved this target in six months.
Groww was founded in the year 2016 by former Flipkart executives Keshre, Harsh Jain, Neeraj Singh and Ishan Bansal. And, is one of India’s leading startup companies.
