But, amid all this, Sushant’s ex-girlfriend and co-star of the famous show ‘Pavitra Rishta’, Ankita Lokhande was recently spotted outside Sushant’s residence to pay her condolences to the late actor’s family. She mustered all the energy and held her emotions back to attend a prayer meet at Ekta Kapoor’s house in the evening.
According to media reports, Ekta Kapoor who has produced Pavitra Rishta and who is responsible for Sushant’s big break to the telly industry, had held a prayer meet at her residence for the late actor, which was attended by Ankita Lokhande and Sanndip Singh.
Mumbai Police has recorded Ankita’s statement about Sushant’s state. The statements of his caretaker and staff and his manager have also been recorded. His close friend Mahesh Shetty also gave his statement. Police have also taken Sushant’s father’s statement and they are investigating the ‘professional rivalry’ angle also.
