Quotes:
“Trust me: I’ve been travelling, making movies, and spending the remainder of my time at home.”
Life is a place where every location, emotion, and situation resides. We are doing things as per our priority but, few things are mandatory. Spending quality time with family is one of the fundamental things that provides happiness. Work facilitates satisfaction. Every location has a story and meaning in it. We as humans must work, travel and explore locations, enhance our understanding and spend time with family. We are almost living a full-fledged and happy life.
“I’ve only chosen films that offered me something concrete, even if it is less than what I get to do in the South.”
Every actor carries his or her flavour but why do few of them become megastars? The reason behind this is the quality of producing work. Quality is the second step. The fundamental step of this ladder is selection. Selection is responsible for quality. If a person does 5 films but of varied genres then he has done incredible work. The length of the role doesn’t matter, if we get a chance to work then we must hide it. Path-breaking work seems small in the beginning but expands its form and becomes huge of the banyan tree of universality.
“I’m happy that all my films are different from one another.”
An actor is just like the fluid in the vessel, it flows in the director’s direction and so we must make ourselves more comfortable in every type of vessel. If we enjoy doing comedy roles then we must not just do comic things. Breaking the comfort zone is the basic necessity of becoming a great actor.
“Joh log kam bolte hai na, un mein yaadon is ek jwalamukhi bhara hota hai, jis mein woh jalte rehte hai, jalte rehte hai.”
Those who speak less are actually exploring the limitless world of imagination. Curiosity and creativity ignite the world continuously.
“I dress according to what suits me and what I am comfortable in.”
People nowadays try to look fashionable and purchase anything. Becoming just like a TV ad is not our dream. Feeling comfortable and customary is blasphemous. If you want to survive in this competition then please wear every new design. Comfort is the most crucial thing in fashion but is never understood.
“I don’t consider myself a competition to anyone. There is ample space for everyone here. When there are directors who create characters for me, why should I feel bothered or insecure? When it comes to updating myself, I work very hard to relate to the emotions of the characters I play.”
Characters, emotions and that play is successful crescendo as it connects every element. We as an actor must not feel bothered as we aren’t getting permission from you…We must evolve every day and we must boost our performance every day.
