Twinkle Khanna gave it back again to a director who inquired whether she can ‘do a Mandakini’ for the rain music sequence.
Twinkle Khanna reviewed an offensive run over with a director, following which refused to discuss with her and under no circumstances forged her again. Twinkle claimed that he briefed she should ‘complete a Mandakini’ for a song sequence, suggesting that she need to use see-through outfits.
Twinkle produced the disclosure in discourse with actor Waheeda Rehman, sharing on the Tweak India YouTube channel. She was reacting to Waheeda Rehman’s story about getting abused by director Raj Khosla on a film.
Twinkle said, “I also experienced a thing similar, but a little more graphic. I was wearing a white kurta, and all set for the quintessential rain song, and the director will come with a scarf wrapped all around, imitating Guru Dutt. And he states, ‘If I convey to you to do a Mandakini, what will you say?’ I reported I will say two items. First, I will say ‘no’, and secondly, ‘You’re not Raj Kapoor’.”
Twinkle also explained, ‘he by no means spoke to me, he never repeated me, and it was horrible’. But one has to stand one’s floor, she said. Twinkle performed in a rain dance in the movie Mela, directed by Dharmesh Darshan.
She also said: “I have not presented any hit movie. No matter what movies I have carried out should be banned and no 1 need to observe it. Most of the time, I fake I have Alzheimer’s and I don’t remember my movie career and it will make me delighted that means.”
