Sushant Singh Rajput has taken to his heavenly abode, into the stars and beyond, where he always wanted to be, but has left behind his everlasting memories in his films, projects and interviews that remain on the public domain to be cherished by fans and followers.
The people who knew Sushant would know how much he invested his time in reading, accumulating sources on science and history and his fascination with the universe is widely known and adored. But little did you know that Sushant was a visionary who thought of compiling a web series of 12 parts which would have shown the epic journey of some iconic personalities including APJ Abdul Kalam and Swami Vivekananad.
According to media reports, the list featured names like Chanakya, Rabindranath Tagore, etc and was his tribute to Indian geniuses across a span of over 2500 years – from 540 BC to 2015 AD.
He planned it well and thoroughly to compile a 12-part web series which would have him playing those iconic characters. Well, as we think about it now, it would have been so great to see this exceptionally talented person to portray such iconic characters.
But later, he dropped this idea and thought of taking it to theatre and showcasing it in a form of play. The idea behind it was how iconic characters would act/behave in the present time, i.e 2020. So, for example, It would be a dialogue between Swami Vivekananda of 1900 and how he would have behaved/thought/acted in present times. It is an exceptionally brilliant idea, which now, can never be executed and come to real life as thought of!
With Sushant Singh gone from this planet to another universe, he took away with him our hopes of watching him in such a marvelous series or see him act as he planned his come-back as a theatre artist.
