Sushant Singh’s death has given a big shock to the whole world. The 34-year-old actor hanged himself to death on Sunday afternoon at his Mumbai house. The police have still not got any suicide note from his place but it is said the actor was suffering from depression.
The police further informed that the house help of Sushant informed about the actor suicide. “He has committed suicide at his residence in Bandra. Our team is there,” Manoj Sharma, additional commissioner of police, Western Region, told news agency PTI.
Sushant’s death comes just six days after his former manager Disha Salian’s death who died by falling off from her building in Mumbai on 8th June. First, the police stated this as suicide but now the case has taken a new turn, after investigating the case, police have come to a point where it is stated that Disha was drunk when she fell from her building.
According to Patrika, the police are still investigating the case, also they have recorded the statements from Disha’s boyfriend Rohan Rai and seven other people on the case. The police have also collected a few bottles of alcohol and some drugs from Disha’s flat. The police have not come to any conclusion whether this case is a suicide, murder, or just an accident.
Police are waiting for Disha’s post mortem reports, Disha’s COVID-19 reports are still to come after that only the police will continue its further investigation. The statements given by Disha’s boyfriend Rohan seems a little bit fishy to police, Patrika reported.
Following Disha’s death, Sushant had expressed grief and called it a “devastating news”. “It’s such devastating news. My deepest condolences to Disha’s family and friends. May your soul rest in peace,” Sushant wrote on his Instagram account.
Sushant’s death just after six days after the suicide of his former manager Disha has raised eyebrows. However, an investigation is underway and police is trying to find out why the 34-year-old actor committed suicide.
