Anushka Sharma is in London with her husband, Virat Kohli, and their daughter, Vamika. They are attending as the Indian cricket team competes in a five-match test series against England. Although Anushka and Virat try to spend more time with each other as can, the couple’s commitment is always their daughter Vamika.
In a recent interview, Kohli revealed how he and Anushka keep up to speed on Vamika’s schedule. He said, “Firstly now, with our daughter, it’s putting her to sleep, first thing. Then, stepping out for breakfast somewhere, grab a quick coffee in the time that we get. And then, come back to the room to be with our daughter again. Priority is obviously making sure that we stay up to speed with her schedule”.
When they’ve finished their parenting chores, Anushka and Virat go for a walk down the block, a privilege they don’t have in India. Virat said, “Just taking a stroll down the street is probably the most relaxing thing for both of us. Such is the reality of our lives back home. Can’t complain about anything in life, but we have to adjust. Thinking of going down the street in India is not even a dream for us now, it doesn’t even arrive in our dreams anymore”.
Since becoming a father, the cricketer realised that his life had altered and that his priorities had evolved. A smile from his daughter, on the other hand, provides him with relaxing energy. He stated, “There is such calming energy in your child’s smile. When they smile, you literally forget everything. It’s so pure. It’s one of the best feelings in the world.”
Virat Kohli claims Anushka Sharma transformed him as a man and as a cricket player: ‘I don’t know where I would have been if I hadn’t met her.’ Anushka and Virat became parents on Jan 11, this year. Virat and Anushka have indeed been having been together for almost three years, and he believes his life would have been very different if he’d never met Anushka.
