Arjun Kapoor revealed some fascinating details about his relation with Janhvi in a recent interview with the Bazaar Magazine.
The interview was attended by both him and Janhvi. Arjun explained, There were silences. We would meet, but there was no communication worth quantifying,” said. In the interview, Janhvi went on to add, “I have learnt so much from my family. We have the same father, we have the same blood”. But with time the relationship between both of them normalized and they also featured on the famous talk show hosted by Karan Johar, ‘Koffee with Karan’ in 2018.
If you have been living under the rock then you must know that Arjun Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor have the same father, Boney Kapoor. Arjun is the son of Boney Kapoor’s first wife, Mona Shourie while Janhvi is Sridevi’s daughter with Boney. The siblings used to have formal conversations earlier but 24 February 2018 changed their relationship. On that day Sridevi passed away reportedly due to drowning in the bathtub, but some people even today consider it as a murder. This shook their entire family and in this moment of grief and sorrow, the siblings reunited.
On the work front, Arjun’s latest film was “Sardar Ka Grandson”, a Netflix film starring veteran actress, Neena Gupta, Rakul Preet Singh and Aditi Rao Hydari. His last theatrical release was Panipat, a period drama created by the legend Asutosh Gowarikar. Arjun played the role of Sadashiv Rao in the movie who fights the battle with Ahmed Shah Abdali. Janhvi on the other hand was praised for her performance in ‘Roohi” as a ghost alongside Raj Kumar Rao.
