Epic has accused Google of running its app store as an illegitimate monopoly. The reason behind this is apple’s permission to users of utilizing just those apps processed by apple’s payment system. Musk extended his support by saying that he loves and utilizes products of Apple but, fees incurred for zero incremental work were unreasonable.
He has also tweeted that Apple hides the 30% tax thing from people as it would be clamor if people get to know about these irrelevant insights. As per Elon’s explanation, Apple & Google are the largest mobile operating policies in the world and basically, that’s why known as a duopoly. A few days ago, Apple experienced criticisms from Musk on an earnings call for Tesla. Elon Musk said, “The company has created a walled garden to quash the competition.”
Normally, competitive pressure would force Apple to lower fees, but Apple & Android have a duopoly on phones. When interface familiarity is taken into account, it’s basically a monopoly.
