Recently divorced celeb couple, Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao were seen in a press conference in Kargil to have few words about their latest film, “Laal Singh Chaddha”. The shooting of the film is currently under process in Kargil. In the press conference, Aamir and Kiran gave few insights about the movie that there is a sequence of the Kargil War 1999 in the film. Aamir said, ” Humari film Laal Singh Chaddha me ek sequence hai jo Kargil jo humari war hui thi, uske upar based hai. Ek incident hai. To zahir hai, hum Kargil aayenge. Kyunki jo Kargil ki war hai woh yahi hui thi to hum chaahenge jitna accurate rahe hum.”
Both Kiran and Aamir appreciated and greeted thanks to the authorities and the government for their support. They informed that the plan for shooting in Kargil was supposed to held last year. But due to the pandemic, the dates have to be shifted. Laal Singh Chaddha is an official remake of the Hollywood blockbuster, Forrest Gump that starred Tom Hanks. Aamir plays the character of Laal Singh Chaddha, who goes under turmoil due to events happening around him. The film is directed by the ace director, Advait Chandan who also directed the critically claimed Secret Superstar. The movie also has Kareen Kapoor Khan playing the wife of Aamir Khan along with Naga Chaitany and Mona Singh playing pivotal roles.
Recently Kiran and Aamir ended their 15-year-old marriage but decided to remain co-parent to their son Azad. There were many controversies around their divorce which they cleared by saying that they are happy together.
