Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions will premiere its war drama ‘Shershaah’ starring Sidharth Malhotra directly on Amazon Prime Video on 12 August.
Earlier this morning, the ace director and producer Karan Johar took to his social media and shared an another glimpse of his upcoming war movie. Sharing the poster, He wrote, “A Promise that lastest for forever between two hearts. #shershahonprime releasing on 12th August.” Whereas, sharing the same poster on his Instagram account Sidharth Malhotra said, “The best kind of promises are once that are kept, throughout time. This was, is and always will be one such. #SheershahOnPrime releasing on 12th August!” After the post went live on their respective accounts, the heart and the fire emoji started pouring into the comment section.

Earlier, while sharing the teaser of the film, Karan Johar tweeted “An ordinary man’s extraordinary journey of courage and valour. Extremely honoured, thrilled & excited to present #ShershaahOnPrime, releasing on 12th August.”

The upcoming biographical war movie is slated to release on August 12, the film is helmed by Vishnuvardhan and co-produced by Karan Johar and is set to make a mark on Amazon Prime Video. The movie will witness Sidharth Malhotra in a double role and he will be seen playing the character of army captain Vikram Batra, who was awarded with Param Vir Chakra.
