Aditi Ashok, a star Indian golfer qualified for the Tokyo Olympics on Tuesday, making history as the first female Indian golfer to do so.
On Tuesday, the final Olympic rankings were published marking a watershed moment in Olympic history. She finished 45th in the qualifying round and will now compete in her second Olympics.

Aditi Ashok expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to represent India at the Olympic Games once again.

Anirban Lahiri, an ace Indian golfer qualified for his second successive Olympics earlier this month after finishing as the best-placed Indian golfer in the final Tokyo Games Rankings. On Twitter, Lahiri expressed his delight, saying, “This is the finest surprise I’ve got in a long time.”
The 33-year-old took the last remaining slot in the Games rankings coming in 60th place. World No 1 and US Open champion Jon Rahm leads the rankings. This Tokyo Olympics will begin on July 23 and will go through August 8.
