Actress Alia Bhatt had recently announced the wrap for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s, Gangubai Kathiawadi. The actress is currently preparing for her role in the upcoming movie, Darlings. The movie will be co-produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s home production, Red Chillies Entertainment.
Alia Bhatt has recently shared a glimpse of her preparations on her Instagram story. In the picture, we could see the first page of the Darlings’ script. She captioned the post as, “My date today”, with a heart emoji. She also tagged Eternal Sunshine Production and Red Chillies Entertainment in her story. Followed by it, she also posted a workout selfie and wrote that it was Day 1 of her ’40 days challenge’.
The movie, Darlings, is based on the relationship between a mother and a daughter. Both of them struggle to find courage and love in their life. The movie is set in the backdrop of the lower-middle-class conservative neighborhood of Mumbai.
It is the debut movie of the director, Jasmeet K Reen. Also, Alia Bhatt will be producing this film with Eternal Sunshine Production. It is the production debut of the actress.
Alia had made an announcement of the film through an Instagram post, in the month of March. She wrote, “This one’s special! 😊♥️ Announcing #Darlings, my first ever production under @eternalsunshineproduction, in association with my fav @iamsrk’s @redchilliesent!”
Along with Alia Bhatt, the movie also stars actors like Shefali Shah, Roshan Mathew, and Vijay Varma. The Raazi actress will also be seen in movies like ‘RRR’, ‘Takht’, and ‘Brahmastra’.
