US President Joe Biden to visit Poland on March 25: White House

Biden will visit Poland after his trip to Belgium to meet with NATO, G7 leaders & the European Union.

The US President Joe Biden is set to visit Poland on March 25, the White House informed on Sunday. Biden will meet with Poland President Andrzej Duda & will discuss Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

“The President will discuss how the United States, alongside our Allies and partners, is responding to the humanitarian and human rights crisis that Russia’s unjustified and unprovoked war on Ukraine has created,” press secy of the White House, Jen Psaki said in a statement.

Biden will visit Poland after his trip to Belgium to meet with NATO, G7 leaders & the European Union. “The trip will be focused on continuing to rally the world in support of the Ukrainian people and against President Putin’s invasion of Ukraine,” said Jen Psaki. She further confirmed that President Biden has no plans to travel into Ukraine.

Last week Poland PM Mateusz Morawiecki had travelled to the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv. The United Nations has reported that nearly 10 million people have fled Ukraine & most of them have settled in Poland.
