United Kingdom to revise travel guidelines after facing backlash from India

Indian travellers who have completed their both dose of vaccination of Covishield from Serum Institute of India (SII) will be regarded as unvaccinated and they have to self isolate themselves for 10 days as per the rules.

According to the UK travel rule guidelines which come into force from October 4 that all the Indian travellers who have completed their both doses of vaccination of Covishield from Serum Institute of India (SII) will be regarded as unvaccinated and they have to self isolate themselves for 10 days as per the rules.

The UK travel guidelines that will be applicable from October 4 Covishield vaccine which is manufactured by Serum Institute of India and all the Indian Travellers who have completed their both shots of Covishield vaccine from this Institute will be regarded unvaccinated according to rules and they will have to follow self-isolation for 10 days.

UK travel rules guidelines do not include the Indian vaccine as a recognised vaccine in the expanded list of countries whose vaccines are recognised in the UK. This means that it is compulsory that Indians have to pass through PCR test and self-isolation for 10 days if they are vaccinated from Covishield which is manufactured by Serum Institute of India. While Indian politicians try to persuade PMO to cancel the UK- India trade talks and take a stand against this unfair British travel rule.
