Ukrainian President Zelenskyy gave an alarming signal that Russia ‘will wipe out traces of crimes’ it committed soon after the shocking discovery of scattered bodies on the streets of Bucha town in Ukraine broke world outrage.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated, ” No amount of sanctions can stop Russia from the brutality it has unleashed on Ukrainians if you look at the images of the butchered bodies of people in Bucha town near Kyiv. I am sure of severe sanctions to follow on Russia by the West, but I feel it won’t affect Putin. I request a stronger response from the West to stop this Russian aggression.”
As per Mayor Anatolity Fedoruk’s report, civilians from Bucha town have confirmed that the Russian forces are attacking civilians in a brutal way, close to 300 people have been butchered before the Russian troops retrieved from the city.
These reports were denied by the Russian Defense Ministry calling them an “outright provocation”.
With this going on, Souther Ukraine is still fighting heavily in the port city of Mariupol as per the British Defense Ministry as evacuation efforts are on to rescue civilians from the occupied port city.
