Ukraine’s President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has already made an appeal to civilians, saying that anybody willing to protect the nation will be given weapons. The Ministry of Defence has now moved to social media to encourage people to create Molotov cocktails in order to neutralize the invasion.

“In Obolon… We ask citizens for information about the movement of equipment! Make Molotov cocktails neutralize the occupier! Peaceful residents – be careful! Do not leave the house!”

Molotov cocktails are gasoline explosives that are quite simple to make.
