The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Russian forces carried out 154 air strikes overnight, marking one of the heaviest aerial offensives in recent weeks. The attacks included two ballistic missiles and 152 drones of various types launched from multiple directions — Orel, Kursk, Shatalovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk regions, as well as Chauda in occupied Crimea.
According to the Ukrainian military, air defense units successfully shot down or suppressed 88 drones targeting the northern and eastern regions of the country. However, two missiles and 52 strike drones managed to hit their intended targets across ten different locations, causing damage and triggering emergency responses.
The Ukrainian Air Force emphasized that the ongoing wave of drone and missile attacks reflects Russia’s continued strategy of targeting critical infrastructure and urban centers. Ukrainian authorities have not yet disclosed the full extent of the damage or casualties, but rescue and emergency operations are reportedly underway in several affected regions.
The overnight assault underscores the intensifying air campaign as the conflict nears the end of its third year, with both sides ramping up drone and missile operations across frontlines and key cities.
