Ukrainian President Zelensky declared ‘Martial Law’ across Ukraine and urged the citizens to maintain calm. However, his efforts to connect with Putin failed.
The region of Luhansk which is controlled by Ukraine was evacuated on Thursday morning as Russia began its attacks.
Serhiy Haiday, the head of Luhansk Regional State Administration communicated via Facebook and asked people of Luhansk to leave as soon as possible and vehicle owners were asked to take the Dnieper river route.
He also informed that the train services will soon commence from train stations of Lysychansk, Rubizhne and Svatove.
Throughout his communication, he begged people to remain calm and stay alert and keep vigilance. he also asked them to follow the instructions given by the National Police and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
The region of Luhansk is the separatist region supported by Russia along with Donetsk. Both these regions are called oblasts in Ukraine and are divided among separatists of Ukraine and Moscow.
