Authorities in Los Angeles have identified the decomposed body discovered inside a Tesla registered to rising music artist D4vd. The victim has been named as Celeste Rivas, a 15-year-old girl who had been missing for over a year. The case has gained widespread attention because of the unusual circumstances linking the teen’s disappearance to a celebrity-owned vehicle.

Discovery of the Body in the Tesla

The body was found earlier this month inside a Tesla that had been towed to an impound lot in Hollywood. The vehicle, which carries Texas license plates, is legally registered to D4vd. Officials confirmed that the car had never been reported stolen, raising immediate questions about how the remains ended up there.

According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, the victim was wearing black leggings and a tube top, along with a metal stud earring and a bracelet shaped like a “W.” A tattoo on her finger reading “Shhh…” was a significant detail that helped her family identify her.

Identification as Celeste Rivas

Celeste Rivas had been missing since April 2024 from her hometown of Lake Elsinore, California. Her mother, speaking to TMZ, said she recognized her daughter from the description provided by authorities. For more than a year, Celeste’s family had been searching for answers about her disappearance.

The confirmation that her body was discovered in the Tesla has now turned their missing-person case into a criminal investigation. Officials have not yet released an official cause of death, and it remains unclear when or how Celeste’s remains were placed inside the vehicle.

D4vd’s Connection to the Case

While the Tesla is registered to D4vd, there is no indication at this time that the singer is directly involved in Celeste’s death. TMZ reports that D4vd is cooperating fully with law enforcement as investigators piece together the chain of events. The vehicle itself has remained abandoned and in the custody of authorities.
