US President Donald Trump is reportedly planning to attend a New York Yankees game on the anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, according to a report by the New York Post. The President is expected to conclude his day of official memorial duties by traveling to Yankee Stadium in the evening to watch the Yankees face the Detroit Tigers in a much-anticipated American League matchup, scheduled to begin at 7:05 p.m.

Trump’s day will start with a memorial ceremony at the Pentagon in northern Virginia, paying tribute to the victims of the attacks. Vice President JD Vance will represent the administration at the commemoration ceremony at Ground Zero in Lower Manhattan.

Later in the day, Trump is expected to return to his birthplace, New York City, where he is scheduled to attend the Yankees game. However, reports have noted that the plans remain tentative and could be subject to change depending on security or scheduling considerations.

As of now, the White House has not issued an official on-the-record statement confirming the President’s attendance at the game.
