Bengaluru-based edu-tech firm ‘Unacademy’ will be the official partner for the Indian Premier League (IPL) for three seasons, the Indian cricket board BCCI announced.

“With this partnership, we will double-down on our efforts to make Unacademy the biggest brand in the consumer internet space in India,” Karan Shroff, VP – Marketing, Unacademy, said.

The 13th IPL will be held in the United Arab Emirates from September 19 to November 10. The Twenty20 league was originally scheduled to begin in the month of March but had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 crisis.

Meanwhile, strict COVID-19 protocols have been put in place for the eight-team tournament.
