The FBI has released images of a “person of interest” in the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was shot dead on Wednesday at Utah Valley University. The shooter remains at large, and federal authorities are now calling on the public to help identify the suspect.
During a press briefing in Salt Lake City, officials said they had “good video footage” of the individual and were confident in their ability to track him down. Authorities also confirmed they had recovered a high-powered rifle believed to have been used in the shooting, as well as a footwear impression, a palm print, and forearm imprints left behind.
