US President Donald Trump’s favourability remained flat even after last week’s Republican National Convention (RNC) as the majority of Americans viewed his handling of the COVID-19 crisis negatively, the ABC News-Ipsos poll revealed.
On Sunday, the poll revealed that 31% of respondents had a favorable view of the US leader after the convention, representing no significant change from his 32 per cent favourability a week prior after the Democratic National Convention, The Hill news website reported.
Trump’s favorability among Republicans has also dropped 4 percentage points since last week.

However, Joe Biden’s favourability remained higher than his unfavourability, at 46% and 40% respectively.
