September 11, 2020 marks 19 years of the 9/11 terror attacks on the US by the Islamist terror group al-Qaeda.
Nearly 3,000 people were killed during the 9/11 terrorist attacks. It remains one of the deadliest coordinated attacks against Americans on domestic soil.
A few years after the 9/11 terror attack shook the US, several films attempted to portray the grim and harsh reality of the fateful day.
Take a look:

Based on the September 11, 2001 attacks at the World Trade Center, the film was shot between October 2005 and February 2006.
Zero Dark Thirty
It is a fictionalised account of the decade-long hunt for former Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden. Bin Laden was shot to death in Pakistan on May 2, 2011.
The movie’s name is inspired from the same raid and the fact that much of the hunt was shrouded in darkness, and very little was known of bin Laden’s whereabouts until the very end.
Flight 93
This movie chronicles the events aboard United Airlines Flight 93 during the September 11 attack.
