The head of the security for former PM Mahindra Rajapaksa has been summoned by the CID in connection with Monday violence in Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka Crisis: The Head of the security department and other officials have been summoned by the CID. Moreover, in connection with the Monday violence that erupted amidst thousands of protesters in Negombo. Where nearly eight protesters lost their lives in the growing Sri Lanka crisis. The CID has started investigating the violence summoning the head of the security of the former PM Mahindra Rajapaksa, and the OIC of Kollupitiya Police. The statements are being recorded in connection with the attacks on ‘MinaGoGama’. And ‘GotaGoGama’ protesters who gathered in Negombo. To protest the acute food and electricity shortages in the country.
