Russian Intelligence organisation FSB asked authorities to ban meta, a company that owns all popular Social Media platforms over the internet, they also labelled Meta to be an “extremist” organisation.
It is considered that Russia is not interested to share information over social media and are adjudicating it. Citing of Vietnam war, it was the American media with whose efforts the whole war effort crumbled, media is yet ineffective in case of the ongoing Ukraine invasion.
It was said “The activities of the Meta organisation are directed against Russia and its armed forces,” said Russian authorities. The Russian forces are very much involved in the conflict and they are in no intention to allow any organisation to paint the Kremlin in the colours of conquest.
There is a huge protest against Russian forces in the west and the British government is trying its best to block Russia on multiple platforms. US president Joe Biden also called Putin a “war criminal”.Russia does not want its army to be labelled as such, the international forum is not in the mood to let any evidence go.
