Sergei Lavrov, Russian Foreign Minister on Thursday mentioned that he would not consider the Ukraine war to be of a nuclear offensive. He cautioned the US and Europe that Russia will never be dependent on the West ever again.
Post Sanctions
Since the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991, it’s the severest sanctions any nation has faced that Russia is currently facing. Russia’s financial and corporate ecosystem has taken a heavy blow, its stock market has fallen by 45% and still, it continues to barge into Ukraine phase-wise and unleash terror.
A representative of the Kremlin asked whether a nuclear war was going to transpire in Ukraine, Sergei Lavrov stated that he doesn’t want to believe and will not believe it’s a nuclear war.
Sergei Lavrov has been serving Putin’s government in the capacity of a foreign minister since 2004 and he states that the US has used the word ‘Nuclear War’ and they instigated this whole scenario like the father of psychoanalysis Sigmund Freud.
Lavrov stated to his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba, that the US’s constant interference in forcing words like ‘nuclear offensive’ is like a continuous unending negative influence on the already troubled situation in Ukraine.
The US and Russia both have the most advanced nuclear arsenals, warheads post Cold War that kept them apart for the majority of the 20th century, positioning the US against Russia and its allies.
Putin ordered a nuclear high alert
On February 27th Putin unleashed a nuclear offensive on Ukraine. This horrific move was due to the sanctions from the West bloc and its allies; not forgetting the heavy criticism from the military leadership of NATO. Russian representatives later cited the British speaking of a possible confrontation between Russia and NATO.
Say no to the NATO alliance
Putin reminded that the special military exercises in Ukraine were needed to reiterate Russian security soon after the US planned to expand its NATO alliance close to the Russian borderline and backing pro-west leadership in Ukraine.
Ukraine continues to fight against the Russian troops, the entire EU and US and its allies have heavily condemned this inhuman act of Putin. Interestingly China stayed mute so far.
Lavrov said that the Moscow leadership will ensure no dependency of the West going forward and would cope with the crippling economic sanctions. He says that the West is never to be believed or trusted with any dependency.
Many people believed with the end of the Soviet Union’s legacy the cold war would end as well.
Lavrov, clearly pointing at China said that Russia will not beg any nation to purchase its oil or defence technology, the world is huge and Russia will find its buyers.
