An overnight Russian drone strike killed one person and caused a fire in the Bila Tserkva community of the Kiev region on Tuesday, local officials confirmed.

Volodymyr Vovkotrub, acting mayor of Bila Tserkva, said emergency services had been deployed to contain the situation and were “already working on mitigating the consequences.” He also urged residents to stay calm and keep their windows shut due to heavy smoke from the blaze.

The attack marks the latest in a series of drone strikes targeting Ukrainian cities and infrastructure, as the conflict continues to intensify.

Authorities have yet to provide further details on the extent of the damage or whether more casualties have been reported.
